Naughty Girl's Guide to Festival Season

Festival season will be here before we know it! Whether it's your first festival or you're a festival-veteran, it always pays to come prepared. There will be long days and sometimes, long nights. There will be loud music, lots of walking, and so much fun to be had.

But if you're ill-prepared, you'll spend time doing things that are less fun - like bandaging up blistered feet or feeling sick due to dehydration. We've put together a guide to make this festival season the best yet!

Comfortable Shoes

Festivals have become synonymous with fashion and sexy style, but there's nothing fashionable about blisters! Take care of your feet by choosing comfortable shoes that you can walk in for hours on end. Want to make your shoe of choice even more comfortable? Add an insert! Pro tip: Bring a plastic bag to put your shoes inside of when packing up at the end of the weekend - it'll keep the rest of your belongings dirt & dust-free.

Protection

As we get older, we know how important it is to protect our hearing and our skin! Bring earplugs for the times you'll be near the stages. Bring sunscreen and reapply it as often as needed. If you need protection for sex, bring that too!

Bags

When packing your day bag, only pack the essentials. You don't want to lug around a heavy bag all day as that will cause strain on your neck, back, and shoulders. Opt for a fanny pack if you don't want to worry about keeping track of a bag.

Stay Hydrated

If you can bring your own water into the festival, choose a sturdy, reusable bottle that you can refill. If you can't bring your own water into the festival, make sure you find the water stations and visit them frequently enough to remain hydrated.

Bring Layers

Many festivals are warm during the day and cool down at night. Bring a lightweight layer to keep you warm when the chill sets in, or to give your skin a break from the sun during the day.
